Volunteer as a verb

Is there a Greek verb for to volunteer as in "We're looking for anyone who wants to volunteer to clean the beach" meaning, of course, that they wouldn't get paid in any way. If there isn't a verb what would be the best way to phrase it, please?

The closest thing I can think of, in a verb, is "προσφέρομαι", as in "Προσφέρεται κανείς να έρθει να καθαρίσουμε την παραλία;". But the best way to say this would be to add "εθελοντικά" to that.

In many cases, προθυμοποιούμαι would do the job.

But the best way to say this would be to add "εθελοντικά" to that.

Although not an equally accurate rendition, it might be worth mentioning that some opt for the somewhat poshier "αφιλοκερδώς"...
