This is a variation on the "Due to circumstances beyond my control" thread below. How would you say "My group has OVERRULED me and we will not rent the bikes..." when you want to communicate that it was not YOUR idea and therefore OUT OF YOUR CONTROL.
There are many ways to say this - maybe something like "Η πλειοψηφία δεν συμφώνησε μαζί μου", or "Οι υπόλοιποι [της παρέας/ομάδας] δεν θέλουν/συμφωνούν", or "Η ομάδα αποφάσισε διαφορετικά / κάτι διαφορετικό"...
Or, if you want to sound somewhat "parliamentary" (which might come out as either pompous or humorous, depending on context), you could say: «Η πρότασή μου καταψηφίστηκε»...
