Same difference

Same Difference does not mean 'same thing'. Same difference refers to two subject matters which are not equal yet share similar values.
For instance: Apples & Oranges. Both are fruits, but are not equal.
Bob: I love Apples.
John: Don't you mean Oranges?
Bob: Same Difference
A schoolgirl told me she was going skiing in Australia. Her friend said:'you mean Austria.
Reply:-Same difference.

I usually go with Palavra's phrase. Also "τι Λωζάνη τι Κοζάνη". There's usually a response to that, namely "μην μπερδεύεις την βούρτσα με την π..." although I never understood which of the two is supposed to be the inferior.

I think there's no question of inferiority in the last phrase; it's just a matter of... same difference between the two. Apart from the similarity in sound, if pictured in the form of a handle with bristles, some crude resemblance might show but otherwise they're as close as Austria and Australia mentioned above.

Yes, but "είσαι για τον π..." does not exactly mean "σου πρέπουν μεγαλεία", that's why I am confused.
