Paranatellonta are stars or star groups that fall upon angles at the same time that a significant constellation or planet is also upon the angles. They are viewed as attendants. In ancient astrology the term was also applied to the constellations that ascended with the zodiacal decans.
The most obvious of all motions we talk about in physics can be overlooked when thinking of sports. Vectors and projectiles play important roles in all athletic activities. The motion of both the ball and the athlete are affected by vectors because they decide where the path will be. The definition of a vector is a quantity that has both magnitude ( size) and direction. The direction of a vector is the counterclockwise angle of rotation from due east. This plays into importance because once we get into vectors we automatically fall upon angles. First of all we need to know that the length of the vector gives the magnitude and the head of the arrow shows the direction.
Paranatellonta: stars 'rising alongside' (or συνανατέλλοντα/synanatéllonta, 'rising simultaneously') are constellations, parts thereof (also of the signs of the zodiac) or especially bright individual stars, which become visible or invisible at the same time as certain degrees or decanal sections (segments of 10 degrees) of the ecliptic.
