Is there a word or phrase in Greek for "Citizens Action Groups" like the kind that elected officials meet with to discuss specific topics? For example, after the elections last week, a mayor might meet with such a group to discuss a specific subject like traffic on an island. Is this customary in Greece for elected officials like mayors to do this?

Splitting hairs, I know, but strictly speaking, as Earion mentions, "ομάδες δράσης πολιτών" = "citizens action groups". "Ομάδες ενεργών πολιτών" = "active citizens groups".
