bloody marvellous

I'm trying to translate as an exercise the following passage:-
'And then this voice was heard from further down the bar: You want to go to Greece, old man. I would, if I were single. Marvellous climate, bloody marvellous. Four thousand bloody years of history. They're all dying to learn English over there.'
I'm using υπέροχος for 'marvellous'. If I use βρωμο- or παλιο-for 'bloody', it causes an awkward hiatus. What is the best way to express the two 'bloodies' here?

You shouldn't use βρωμο- or παλιό-. "Bloody" is used here to emphasise, while βρωμο- or παλιό- can only be used to curse or jockingly, at best, i.e. when pretending to curse but actually meaning the opposite. So, the translation should be along the following lines:

Φανταστικό κλίμα, πραγματικά υπέροχο. Μιλάμε για τέσσερις χιλιάδες χρόνια ιστορίας! Εκεί όλοι ψοφάνε να μάθουν αγγλικά.

Thanks, Palavra. We tend to use 'bloody' often as an intensifier. In Greek it seems you use in its place a milder equivalent or merely drop it.

We should note, however, that you wouldn't say Ήταν γαμημένα υπέροχο! because it sounds like a word-for-word translation from English. You would, however, say Βρε το γαμημένο το [...], ήταν φανταστικό!

Ευχαριστώ και στις δυο σας. Με την ευκαίρια, κάπου διάβασα σήμερα το πρωί η φράση 'ρε μπιου' και 'ρε μπρο'. Η δεύτερη λέξη σαφώς είναι τα Αγγλικά 'brother' αλλά τι θα λέγατε για το 'ρε μπιου'? Σκεφτόμουν που μπιου σημαίνει το φάρμακο 'έκσταση'. Τι σημαίνει στα μεταφραζόμενα αυτά;
Εδώ είναι το παράδειγμα:
---Πώς ήταν η έκθεση μοτοσυκλέτας ρε μπίου;
— Καλά μπρο δεν πιάνεις, και γαμώ λέμε ..

I think that "μπίου" here is a shortened variant of γκάου-μπίου, defined in slang.gr as "βλαξ ο κοινός" (a common fool, an Idiot vulgaris) but used in this case between buddies of the slangy variety as a term of endearment, as it were.
