Good morning friends,

Is there an expression in Greek for someone who has bad or good credit? Having trouble finding it. What would be the closest equivalent - in both colloquialism and more formal business-like Greek?

Thank you.

For bad credit, the formal business-like is αναξιόχρεος· for business entities one can also use αναξιόπιστος. Here's also some colloquial ones for bad credit:
I have bad credit = είμαι μαύρος, είμαι μαυρισμένος, με μαυρίσανε· very bad credit = κατάμαυρος· there're some additional expressions related to specifically having lots of debts etc.

Regarding the good credit, one can formally say αξιόχρεος. On a much more colloquial note, one could use λίρα εκατό.

Wow. This is really helpful but – what about a word for “credit”? “χρέος» is debt but is there word for credit, as in we will extend you credit? Or mr. So and So is applying for credit.

Thank you, Zazula!

The word for credit (noun) can be either πίστη or πίστωση, depending on context. When the noun credit is used as a modifier, then it can be πιστωτικός or πιστοληπτικός, based again on context.
