Mainly a UK expression. 'Get it into your thick head' is attempting to make someone understand something, especially when you have told them many times before and are annoyed:
-How can I get it into your thick head that it’s dangerous to swim that far out in the sea?
-Will you get it into your thick head that I’m not coming!
-He can't seem to get it through his thick skull that he has to study to pass the exam. If I could get this into my thick head once, I'd remember it.
-When will you get it into your thick head that I don't want to see you again!
I'm sure that there are many spoken or colloquial Greek equivalents of this highly versatile expression.:curse:
