Theseus, please note that ώστε can be normally used at the start of a sentence only when that sentence expresses a conclusion or follows up on something said before, as is the case in this video where the waiter follows up on the woman's answer "Only four days." at the end of the previous lesson:

I thought it could be ώστε but I thought I detected a definite π in what he said. Both your comments are useful. It makes sense as a particle "of conclusion or follow-on" since, as you both know, it introduces result clauses in Ancient Greek.
Σκέφτηκα ότι μπορούσε να είναι «ώστε», αλλά νόμιζα ότι διέκρινα και ένα "π" στην αρχή του συνδέσμου που χρησιμοποίησε ο σερβιτόρος. Πολύ χρήσιμα είναι τα σχόλια και από τους δυο σας. Το «ώστε» είναι λογικό για αποτελεσματικός σύνδεσμος, αλλά και συμπερασματικός, αφού στα αρχαία ελληνικά εισάγει συμπερασματικές προτάσεις.
