Για πιο κατανοητά ελληνικά θα πρότεινα «λογισμικό σε (δύο) διαφορετικά αποθηκευτικά μέσα».

Όμως έχω την αίσθηση ότι μαζί με τα μέσα εννοεί εδώ σαφώς και τα διαφορετικά λειτουργικά ή γλωσσικά περιβάλλοντα, κάτι που χάνεται σε αυτή την ελληνική απόδοση, όπου η έμφαση είναι στα διαφορετικά μέσα αποθήκευσης. Πρακτικά όμως, μπορεί να μην είναι καν διαφορετικά --μπορεί να είναι απλώς π.χ. ένα στικάκι διπλής εκκίνησης.
