Since Microsoft introduced multitasking, with Windows 95, back in... well, 1995, there was a handle which was used for alternating between focus-tasks*, associated with the key combination ALT+TAB. This combination was never changed in subsequent versions, eventually giving rise to the verb alt-tab. To alt-tab is to alternate between focus-tasks, also called task-switch. Can you think of an appropriate translation in Greek?
-I can't access my desktop when I'm running GTA 4.
-You have to alt-tab to do that, but I wouldn't recommend it if your system is low on resources.
-I've tried that, but task-switching doesn't work.
* tasks that do not run in the background. Tasks that run in the background are not directly accessible by the user. Such tasks are the windows task manager, the crss (client server runtime process), audio and video utilities, etc.
