In a passage about awful weather conditions, caused by constant rainfall these words occur, after the author has said 'The problem is that apart from causing extensive damage to farmers, the rain is bringing about difficult conditions for motorists':-
Πλημύρρες, καθυστερήσεις, συγκρούσεις, δυστυχήματα θανατηφόρα και μη.
This seems to be an easy question but is it legitimate to translate it as 'fatal accidents or otherwise: 'and not' sounds peculiar. 'Or not' would be better but 'or otherwise' seems my best shot.:twit:
