Στους Χώρους του Θεάτρου Κόντρα

I've no idea what the translation of this means: in the spaces/places of the Kontra Theatre'. I know of the Kontra Channel but that doesn't help much . The passage refers to a drama competition in the Theatre of the North in 1999 to discover theatrical works of new Greek authors. The passage goes immediately on to say

Good afternoon, Theseu! I don't know the background to this, but suggest that this just indicates the general venue - "at the Kontra Theatre". There would presumably be various parts of the overall building where discussions might take place: the main auditorium, rehearsal rooms, meeting rooms and so on. Maybe "at the various meeting facilities which the theatre offers".

This is pure conjecture, and in my state of ignorance, I would have preferred lower case X. I stand (or rather sit) to be corrected.

I note other examples such as "περιήγηση στους χώρους του μουσείου" - "a tour of the museum", to put it at its simplest.

Thank you, Philip. It is a lower case χ in the original. My iPad has this irritating habit of auto-correcting or capitalising what I have written. I should have checked the text of the question. So what you have written isn't pure conjecture. It is spot on. Your translation makes admirable sense. Not quite knowing what the Kontra Theatre was by χώρους I was thinking that this theatre had a number of venues instead of realising eventually that the Kontra Theatre was a single building. The discussions, agreements & disagreements would, i presume, have taken place in this Theatre of the North & later formed part of a TV programme.
