Dilemma: ongoing or on-going?

Γράφω στο Word 2010 με ορθογραφικό έλεγχο UK-English τη λέξη ongoing και μου την κοκκινίζει προτείνοντας on-going. Αλλά εδώ: http://www.future-perfect.co.uk/grammartips/grammar-tip-ongoing.asp λέει ότι το σωστό είναι το ongoing. Τι παίζει;

I hope it's not an ongoing dilemma, Zaz. (I vote for ongoing).

I came across a similar situation with laneway (which is currently showing red). .. is it lane way, lane-way or do we just settle for lane (which is not quite the same thing)?
A google search of "laneway" comes up with a lot of Aussie related results, and not much else.

Do the Americans (and the British) recognise the term, laneway? ... actually, alleyway (which is not a term us Aussies would normally use; nor the British, I would have thought?) does not bring up any red in the UK spell checker. When you enter Penny Lane, aren't you entering a laneway - has it suddenly become an alleyway?

Εγώ το συναντάω κατά γενικό κανόνα χωρίς το ενωτικό και βλέπω ότι και τα βρετανικά λεξικά το προτιμούν έτσι.

Καλημέρα. Ο δικός μου διορθωτής δεν τη διορθώνει. Που σημαίνει ότι στο Word σου ο διορθωτής έχει απαρχαιωμένες αντιλήψεις. Το OED έχει λήμμα on-going και προσθέτει τη γραφή ongoing. Το ODE έχει μόνο ongoing. Τα παραδείγματα του OED δείχνουν να χάνεται το ενωτικό στη δεκαετία του 1950.

Τα ίδια περίπου θα έλεγα για τις παρόμοιες incoming, outgoing, forthcoming κ.ο.κ. Είχαν κάποτε τα ενωτικά που πιο εύκολα χάνονται.
