repertory cinema = ταινίες ρεπερτορίου

Good morning friends,

Repertory cinema is an expression referring to the tradition of rereleasing films from the past-- something that is often done in the summers with old Hitchcock films, Aliki Vougouklaki, Tzeni Karezi etc. I am wondering if there is a Greek equivalent to this expression apart from  "παλιές ταινίες"?

Thank you.

Friends, I'm coming back to this and wondering if there's any other alternatives to films from the past -- Aliki Vougouklaki, Tzeni Karezi etc-- could one say "κλασσικές ταινίες" from the 50's or 60's. How would one say "from the 50's or 60's"?

There's various ways you could express it, eg.

Thank you, all. Your replies where what I was hoping for. Expressions like "του παλιού ελληνικού κινηματογράφου" and "της χρυσής εποχής" sound perfect. I really appreciate it.
