human husbandry

Ξέρετε αν έχει ήδη αποδοθεί κάπως ο όρος "human husbandry";

Αν όχι, κάποια ιδέα;

That is, when there is no free lunch, humans can perforce be made to work –i.e. to subordinate themselves to those persons to whom our public assets and resources had been distributed as private property. Thus was born human husbandry, exemplars of which we can see in the “corrections industry,” “medical technology industry,” “home and national security industry,” “elder care,” and “higher education.” - εδώ

και

That’s why the short definition of human husbandry is the “exploitation of human beings by their own kind to their detriment.” - εδώ

Man must implement good “human husbandry,” which can be defined as the maintenance of a population density at a level where everything in his habitat (local or national in size)—and, ideally in the total environment (the world)—favors an increase in population, yet he uses his intelligence to restrict his population by many means, including government control of human conception rates Animal populations, including people, have self-limiting mechanisms which usually prevent catastrophic overpopulations that could completely destroy the species. This natural self-limitation counteracts their innate capabilities of producing surplus offspring. However, nature, as well as man, does not practice good husbandry, and the natural stresses that prevent a further rise in population size are not desirable controls. They include such mechanisms as competition for food and mates, battles of territoriality resulting from crowding, predation, effects of weather, diseases from overpopulation, psychological stress factors, organized attacks or war, and other vicissitudes of life. Good husbandry, in marked contrast, implies that the population growth is checked at some level that is high up on the classical sigmoid growth curve of population growth rates but short of the leveling off from natural self-limiting factors that occurs once the maximum carrying capacity is reached.
