It refers to a moment between two friends when the friendship takes on a different dimension and something more than friendship is born. Is there a matching Greek phrase?:)

BTW, the reference to a jungle drum can be taken as racist by some, especially when in the plural.

Ε ναι, από τα ίδια άτομα που θεωρούν ρατσιστικό να παραγγέλνεις black coffee.

Δεν μου έρχεται στο νου κάποια έκφραση γι' αυτήν τη μεταστροφή στη σχέση, Θησέα. Αν και δεν καταλαβαίνω καλά τι εννοείς. Η έκφραση jungle drum moment υπάρχει στα αγγλικά και αναφέρεται σ' αυτήν την αλλαγή; Το τραγούδι δεν νομίζω ότι μιλάει για κάτι τέτοιο πάντως.

I agree about the black coffee. 'Racist' is a label thrown around indiscriminately about any use of the word 'black'. 'A jungle drum moment' I have heard used in Australian soaps fairly recently for this change when friendship changes to love. It is quite an evocative phrase for the heightened beating of the heart, don't you think? :)

Ωραία παρομοίωση είναι για τους χτύπους της καρδιάς και το τραγούδι περιγράφει πολύ όμορφα το ερωτικό καρδιοχτύπι, αλλά είναι τόσο απροκάλυπτα ναζιστικό που δεν πρόκειται να το ξανακούσω.

Δεν την έχω ξανασυναντήσει την έκφραση πάντως. Μάλλον ήρθε η ώρα να το ρίξω στις σαπουνόπερες, αυστραλέζικες ή μη.

Επίσης, αντί για καρδιοχτύπι μπορείς να πεις φτερούγισμα / πετάρισμα / φτεροκόπημα της καρδιάς.
