Just the job/ticket and just what the doctor ordered

Exactly what was needed. For example,
--This steak is just what the doctor ordered
--You've been a great help in our office--just what the doctor ordered.
This expression alludes to a physician's prescription for a cure. [First half of 1900s]

In a situation that has maybe been stressful or tiring, a friend offers you a gin and tonic. You say 'Ah! Just what the doctor ordered' i.e.It's as if your doctor has ordered you to do something to make you better.

Το επίθετο τζιτζί, που σημαίνει «όμορφος» και «περιποιημένος» και προέρχεται από το τουρκικό cici, χρησιμοποιείται συχνά μαζί με το για για να αποδώσει τη σημασία που έχει και το αγγλικό just the thing for (ό,τι πρέπει για την περίπτωση), π.χ. (από το διαδίκτυο):

Ρίξτου ένα λινουξάκι και θα είναι τζιτζί για δουλειές γραφείου και ίντερνετ. (δηλ. Εγκατάστησέ του σύστημα Linux και θα είναι ό,τι πρέπει για...)
Η τιμή φαίνεται τζιτζί για το μπάτζετ μου.

Οπωσδήποτε, το ρέτζιστερ είναι κάνα-δυο επίπεδα πιο κάτω από το αντίστοιχο αγγλικό και των τριών φράσεων.

Simply: ό,τι πρέπει.
Also: (αυτό) ήταν ό,τι ακριβώς χρειαζόταν / ό,τι έπρεπε.

It's not easy to find something with doctors, health etc., as the Greek saying ο γιατρός είπε να μην του λέμε όχι, which is said of erratic people, can easily be transformed to something ironic like είναι αυτό που του έγραψε ο γιατρός, a kind of phrasal false-friend. ;)

However, we do have a similar usage (I think :)) in: βρήκα την υγειά μου.
