Μήπως μπορείτε να με βοηθήσετε λέγοντάς μου πώς λέγονται στα ελληνικά τα bush planes; Μπορούμε να τα πούμε αεροπλάνα παντός εδάφους;

A bush airplane is a general aviation aircraft serving remote, undeveloped areas of a country, usually the African bush, Alaskan and Canadian tundra or the Australian Outback. They are used where the road system is insufficient, or where roads do not exist at all.[SUP]http://www.answers.com/topic/bush-plane#cite_note-0[/SUP]

Από τη Wikipedia για το bush airplane:
  • High wings provide improved ground visibility during flight and greater distance between the bush and the wing during landing.
  • Conventional or 'taildragger' landing gear — two large main wheels and a small rear wheel result in a nose-high attitude on the ground and increase prop clearance, convenient when operating from rough-surfaced runways.
  • Short runway requirements, typically gained through high-lift devices such as flaps, vortex generators, and slots or slats improve low speed flight characteristics, allowing for shorter ground rolls on landing.
  • Very large, low-pressure tundra tires enable the pilot to land and take off in unimproved areas. It is not uncommon for a bush pilot to land (and take off) where no airplane has been before.
  • Removable floats and skis permit operation on water or snow.
Και για το bush flying:
Bush flying is a term for aircraft operations carried out in remote, inhospitable regions of the world. Bush flying involves operations in rough terrain where there are often no prepared landing strips or runways, frequently necessitating that bush planes be equipped with abnormally large tires, floats or skis.
...
Bush flying involves operations in rough terrain, necessitating bush planes to be equipped with tundra tires, floats, or skis. A bush plane should have good short take-off and landing capabilities. A typical bush plane will have wings on top of its fuselage to ensure that they do not make contact with any overgrowth in the landing area. They will normally have conventional "tail-dragger" landing gear as it has a greater aeronautic ability than tricycle landing gear, and is more suited to rough surfaces. The increased upward angle of the taildragger configuration gives the propeller more clearance from the ground allowing it to avoid striking large rocks, logs and other debris that might cause damage. However tricycle gear ("Nose wheel") bushplanes are capable of landing almost anywhere a tail dragger can, provided it is equipped with suitable oversize high flotation tires and is correctly loaded.
