to extend a lease

I am wondering what is the right phrasing for extending a lease, as in what happens when a tenant's lease is expiring and they want to extend their stay. Does the word "παράταση" come in to play or is there another more appropriate phrase? Would one say something like "Συζητάμε παράταση στο μισθωτήριο"?

Ναι, σωστά. Παράταση στο μισθωτήριο, παράταση του συμβολαίου, παράταση της μίσθωσης (μίσθωση as in lease, the act of leasing, not lease as in the contract).
