αρπάζουν το ψητό

In the song by Nikos Gounaris Είναι μυστήριο οι γυναίκες occur these words:

Άλλες τσιρίζουν και φωνάζουν κι όλο κλαίνε
Άλλες σου κάνουνε τον άγγελο σωστό
Είναι και άλλες όπου τίποτα δεν λένε
Μα κατ' ευθεία το αρπάζουν το ψητό.

Is the phrase used metaphorically here: 'there are others too who?/where? they say nothing But immediately get straight to the point?

You're quite right, "they get straight to the point", though they don't say anything ("τίποτα δεν λένε"), therefore it's not a verbal point here, and one wonders what sort of "ψητό" this is if they get to "grab" it ("το αρπάζουν").

"Αρπάζω (κατευθείαν) το ψητό" is not the most common variation of the expression. Dictionaries (and N Sarantakos's book) have "μπαίνω/έρχομαι στο ψητό", while Dimitrakos has "βαράει ίσια στο ψητό" (rare), and Thessaloniki "προχώρα στο ψητό" (quite common).

Όπου was the original form of relative που before the initial ο was dropped.

Perhaps not so much about "getting to the point", as much as "getting" - as in, "grasping/"understanding the point/sensing what's important"?

...referring to those (the reticent amongst us) who say little, but nevertheless grasp what's essential/the pith/the gist of the matter/grasp the important kernel of truth.

Maybe it refers to those who have the innate ability (incisiveness?) to (immediately) sense and "grasp" the important?

αρπάζουν το ψητό ... could mean "grab the spoils"/"grab the advantage" (i.e., these women take advantage of you/use you to their end)?

it refers to a category of women who don't say anything, just play it dumb (work silently) and when you least expect it, they grab the "spoils" and bleed you dry (whatever these "spoils" may be, as nickel said). :huh:
