to increase one's limit

Good morning friends,

I am wondering how one would say "I want to increase the limit of my withdrawals at the ATM machine from 600 euros to 1000."

The words "Ενισχύσω, ανεβάσω, αυξάνω" come to mind but I am not sure which one would be appropriate.

«Σας παρακαλώ, θέλω να ενισχύσω το όριο μιας ανάληψης από τον λογαριασμό μου από 600 ευρώ στα 1000 ευρώ.» Am I close?

Similarly can one use the verb " κατεβασω" to say "I will withdraw a certain amount"? Ι know "κατεβασω" is used when you download something in to your computer but I don't know if it would be used for withdrawing money from an ATM..

Finally, how does one say "ATM" in Greek? Thank you, guys. I really appreciate it.

Θέλω να αυξήσω το όριο αναλήψεων / να μειώσω

One at a time:

increase is usually αυξάνω.

to increase one's withdrawal limit = αυξάνω το όριο αναλήψεών μου

Example:

Σας παρακαλώ, θα ήθελα να αυξήσω το όριο αναλήψεων του λογαριασμού μου από τα 600 ευρώ στα 1000.

I will withdraw a certain amount = Θα κάνω ανάληψη το ποσό... Colloquial: Θα σηκώσω το ποσό των 400 ευρώ.

ATMs are ATM in Greek, too. But if you want the long version, one popular term in use is (Αυτόματο) μηχάνημα ανάληψης μετρητών.

Έχω ακούσει, και μου αρέσει, το αυτόματο γκισέ.

Όπως παρατηρεί εύστοχα ένα μέλος του slang.gr, «Κάποτες ήθελαν να το εξελληνίσουν σε Αυτόματη Ταμειακή Μηχανή αλλά παρέμεινε (ιδίως τώρα) ΆΤιΜο».

These are great, thank you. Nickel, could you tell me, if I use ATM in Greek would I pronounce it just like in English?

And, Earion, thank you for the "αυτόματο γκισέ". I love these colloquialisms.
